The rhythm of the walk ....

I’m a pilgrim on the way to Santiago

I started wit a troubled mind

I worried ‘bout my body, soul and cargo

But I’m still walking on

tock, tock, tock, walk, walk, walk

If I’m lucky the sun is shining

and it’s fun to walk

everybody seams to be smiling

and I can hear the angels talk

Some days raindrops are falling

But I’m still going on

‘cause I can hear Santiago calling

and I can’t resist the song

The road isn’t always easy

through forest, city streets and fields

paved, stones,  sometimes even greasy

up and down the hills

At times I walk with other pilgrims

at times by myself and hide

but I’m never alone out there

‘cause I got my Guardian Angel by my side

I’ve been walking for many days now

my hear is joyful and free

the sun is shining on me somehow

and the lord is watching over me

And as my prayers grow stronger

I can feel Compostella is near

Soon I won’t have to walk any longer

and to me the message is clear

… and now I lost all my fear!
